"A" Mountain

Trail Description:
This trails pretty cool, especially if you start under I-25 and go up the hill on the dirt road starting under the bridge of I-25 and go to the mountain- Hard Core Man, if not then start on the West North west side and find the single track along the jeep trail. The jeep trail connects to it. Single track is rolly at times as well as short steep areas, some rocky. Go around the mountain and on the East side it turns into a jeep trail until the North side of the Mountain it becomes single again.

How to get there:
"A" Mountain is on the Southern part of las Cruces, NM Right along I-25. You can get off at Univercity Ave. then park under I-25 or even at the Pan American center, for a good warm-up to the trail. Or take Univercity to the West, North West side of the mountain and begin there.

The trails areok its the freeriding at the base of the mountain that is fun. Fto watch and ride.. and there is a new trail running down the north side of the mountain. Its steep and technical but totally rideable by all.

going to the top of the A-mountain is easy, breezy try it. the devils crotch has kicked my butt a few times.

This is a decent after work trail. It takes about an hour to go around. Not terribly difficult. Many nearby single tracks through the desert.
